Jarenlang hield Vanessa Joosen zich bezig met sprookjes, menig artikel getuigde er van. En nu verscheen april 2011 van deze onderzoeker, werkzaam aan de Antwerpse universiteit, een proefschrift: Critical and Creative Perspectives on Fairy Tales: An Intertextual Dialogue between Fairy-Tale Scholarship and Postmodern Retellings. 384 p., ISBN 9780814334522, Wayne State University Press. Waarom ze helemaal naar deze uitgeverij moest voor uitgave, wil ik haar bij gelegenheid nog eens vragen.
